Buick LeSabre
Apr 01There are a lot of classic cars that can be categorized as rather exotic and beautiful, and the Buick LeSabre is certainly one of those cars hands down. Seeing the bodywork and exterior design, you will notice the groundbreaking design and unique lines that make this car very beautiful on the outside nonetheless. What are the features offered by this car? We are going to find out in just a second.
Even though other Buick cars released in the same period used the newer 401ci V8 engine, the Buick LeSabre stayed true to the older yet highly favored 364ci V8 engine. The engine may not be the most powerful at the time, but it was certainly more than enough to make this car very capable. In standard form, Buick LeSabre’s V8 engine is capable of producing 250 horsepower.
Later on that year, Buick released newer four-barrel version of the Buick LeSabre with improved engine performance. A 50 horsepower increase was introduced in this newer model, along with several other features such as better braking system and improved stability. The 12-inch finned aluminum brake drums added superb stopping power and improved safety.
The Buick LeSabre also came with two transmission options. You can opt for a 3-speed manual transmission or a 2-speed automatic transmission. Even though the choice of transmission can be considered rather unorthodox, the Buick LeSabre quickly became everyone’s favorite soon after it was released to the market. Today, the Buick LeSabre is one of the most valuable classic cars to have.
